Make Space for Jewish Life at Chabad Jewish Center!
Add Your Name to the Caring Wall
This year, the first day of Rosh Hashana is on Shabbat.
Shabbat is G-d’s answer to the pressure that fills our days. For 25 hours, we stop responding to every demand for our attention. We make protected space for G-d, our families, our community, and our Jewish souls.
The entire year of 5787 is framed by Shabbat and its invitation to make space for what matters most.
Will you help make that possible for someone at Chabad of Waukesha?
Your High Holiday gift will also help prepare meaningful services, children’s programs, holiday meals, machzorim, security, and a warm welcome when they arrive. We want to personally invite people who might otherwise make no plans to come and make them feel at home and welcome!
During the High Holidays, we will display a Caring Wall containing the names of the people whose gifts helped make these experiences possible.
A guest may see your name before ever meeting you. The wall carries a message:
"We care about you. We were hoping you would come."
The more names on the wall, the stronger we represent our unity. It can be any amount: if you can - give $180, perhaps you can give $360 or $540. If you have been especially blessed this year, please consider a gift of $3,600. Every gift is appreciated. Please give according to your ability (of course, requests for anonymity will always be respected).
Please make your High Holiday gift today and help someone find a meaningful place for prayer, celebration, friendship, and Jewish community here at Chabad Jewish Center!
